WHY KETTLER QUALITY IS UNMATCHED: First, because we have our own tube making factory, we control the quality from start to finish. After the tube is formed it is then bathed twice in cleaning fluid to remove any dirt or grease that may have accumulated. Following the second cleaning process, the tube is given a coating of iron phosphate on the outside and, more importantly, on the inside surfaces. It is this special coating that provides the protection against rust. Finally, a weather proof polyester coating is applied to the outer surface.
