ABOUT CATSKILL CRAFTSMEN: Catskill Craftsmen is located in Stamford, New York, a small rural village nestled in the northern sections of the Catskill Mountains, at the headwaters of both the Schoharie and Delaware rivers. Our picturesque views are second to none. The area is noted for downhill skiing, prime hunting, and terrific fishing. Stamford is also known as “The Queen of the Catskills”, a name used by thousands of metropolitan New Yorkers, who, at the turning of the 19th to the 20th century, took the long train ride to spend their summers in the cool mountain air.

Lumber is purchased from area sawmills, then dried, manufactured, and packaged on site. All sawdust, shavings and waste materials generated during the manufacturing process is converted into wood pellet fuel, and used to heat homes. We are proud to say, “our operations generate no wood waste”.
